Hi,

Is there a place I can make replica of aurora stars hot stamped tournment set for home usage in the form of classic poker chips?

If so, which vendors would you recommend? I understand it won’t be Paulson quality.

Thank you!

Presumably you could get no-stamp no-inlay custom CPCs made on whatever mold of theirs you like best. CPC literally being the company "Classic Poker Chips" who are the only makers of 'traditional clay' style poker chips that sells to the public. They're not taking new orders currently and probably won't for months, with delivery probably being a minimum of a year from now as they get back on their feet (new owners are moving the factory across the country). You'd then need someone else to hotstamp them as CPC might not offer that service from their new home.

You could get custom TINAs that approximate Aurora Stars but those don't hotstamp...

Are you basically interested in getting an Aurora Star set but don't want to pay the $5-10 per chip that they cost?

You could do a "tribute" style set. Pick colors and edgespots that most closely approximate the Aurora Stars, then have someone design a hot stamp in a similar style, but with a different name that would mean something to you.

But yeah, like @Gus said, rough timing to get something from CPC.

I've done a few "faux" hotstamps on Tina cards mold and no-mold chips if you're looking for an inexpensive option.

Correct!

Tina "hot stamps" are just printed on like any other image. Its not a real hot stamp, but ink mimicing a hot stamp. If that scratches the itch, Justin's group buys have the Aurora Star tournament hotstamps as a pre-made ready to order. Its like 50c per chip.

any pics of aurora star from Justin?

How do you do hot stamp? Did you order Tina without hot stamp than hot stamped?
The art is just done in Photoshop to look like gold foil. That image is then printed on the chip to make it look like foil pressed into the chip.
Since the art is customizable, you can have anything you want printed as the hotstamp, it doesn't need to say aurora star.

Maybe a tribute to Dolly Parton? Areola Scars.
