I have no idea what version I have. They have sharp edges and have only been used by me once.

I remember seeing these online for sale and not being able to confirm if they were actually clay. I didn’t know about the chip forums back then. These and Paulson Niors were always my favorite non custom chip design. I wish CPC would do stuff like this in the future 😢.

I think spending some time on that will make them easier to sell (at least to someone adding to an existing set). If you look at the variant gallery, you’ll see that some versions not only have different shades of base colors and inlay variations but also actually slightly differs in diameter from one another.

BCC folks have learned to be ok with most of the variations but I had some mixed sized barrels at one point and that for one is a big no go, at least within the same denomination.

If I had to guess I would say V2 and V3 range. It’s hard enough just finding any protégés really especially in this condition. I tried for months to get any version of $5s and I couldn’t obtain a single one. I understand the importance of the variance but it’s slim pickings from my experience. Thank you for the advice and I hope my info. helps. These chips handle well and have that great BCC feel and unique sound.

I forgot to add that I used Paulson racks for the game Friday and they fit good in them.

This is probably the most likes I have ever received on a post. It’s makes me smile.
Well the pics are outstanding, and I think you'll find (if you don't already know) that there is a strong contingent of members on this forum that just think Proteges are just about the finest chip out there...

If members coordinate the splits that’s fine with me, I just want to ship out to one person and one transaction.
