Priced-out of this hobby? (15 Viewers)

The Borgata tourney chips in question were BJs made by GPI. The fakes were made in China.
I image anybody who was one of the final 17, or however many were left in that tournament, probably aren’t big fans of Tina either.

Collectors collect singles and sample sets? Hoarders buy super massive set with no plans of ever putting it into play.

Your kids will sell them at a garage sale when your dead for Windwalker to swoop in, buy, and sell to his rich friends.

Save the sets for poker players who appreciate chips and understand the true chipping experience is playing with the chips (I am biased btw)!!
I’m with you on all this. Sometimes the hoarders are the flippers. BUY, BUY, BUY, and then sit on them until they can rape for the highest price. It makes me sick, but that’s what this place has come to.

I’m just leaving a comment here to test whether this will allow me to leave you positive feedback for our transaction

you have to have commented on an actual sales thread listed in the classifieds (or auctions)

That thread is closed and someone else suggested commenting on an open thread from the seller. This was his only open thread. Man it’s tough to do the right thing without being treated like a puppy who shit on the floor.

All in good spirits! These types of threads are just drama magnets, so I found it funny!

Welcome to PCF, keep your arms and legs inside the vehicle at all times and enjoy the ride.

So, if I’m reading this correctly, the reason I’m unable to leave feedback or receive any is because I haven’t listed anything in the classifieds, yet. Won’t matter how many purchases I make, until I make a listing and complete that transaction, the sellers who sell to me are out of luck and so am I. I don’t really care. I’m just trying to do the right thing for the seller. I assumed the more positive feedback, the better, kind of like eBay. Maybe no one cares. After all, I mentioned to one of the sellers I was having trouble leaving him feedback, and his response was “how do you leave feedback?” And he’s been here for years.

You just have to post in the seller's ad thread to leave feedback. If that is not working for you, DM me the link to the ad thread that you posted in where you are unable to leave feedback and I will check it out.

Should be fixed now. I did a temp fix.

For those who have used the feedback system before, finding the Deal URL will be a little different. The best way to leave feedback is to go to the ad thread and click on "add feedback" under the seller's avatar. It is at the bottom of the list. The deal URL should be prefilled for you.

Big changes are coming the market place and there will be a new feedback system too. All previous feedback will be imported so no one will lose any.

improving the site, blah blah blah...Can we please get this thread back on track

Back in my day you could buy chips for free! You people are insane. Now we have to play poker with rocks but the gosh darn inflation is so high I can’t even afford gravel anymore.

Can the developers do something about this? @Tommy

I remember when I started chipping back in the late 1900s compression molded clay manufacturers would pay you to take their chips.
