Letting these go since they never see the felt. Here is a chance to own ASM actual casino chips.

History: the casino was set to open and had approval from Trinidad & Tobago gaming authority, chips were manufactured then gaming authority pulled license and casino never opened. Chips were in Portland, ME for years until granted permission to sell to public.

Later Michael Dambach of ASM created the Turks & Caicos inlay which allowed add-ons for the set since the T1000 were rare.

964 chips without $5 chips. $1200 shipped CONUS.

1,205 chips if buyer wants $5 chips. $1500 shipped CONUS.

Buyer of either set gets Club Cleopatra chip case free (holds 250 chips).

International buyers considered but must pay actual shipping and I will not be liable once chips leave the U.S.

Paypal friends/family. Other payment options considered: zelle, etc.

Will consider splitting into 2 equal smaller sets, buyer(s) pay shipping.

Great set. I have played a tournament or two with these and they out outstanding chips and colors.
I love the Caribbean sets!
Sad to see these go and glws.


Ya know, you could host a tournament once in a while, it would solve your problem :p
 
A little more history on these chips:
The chips were originally listed on Kardwell.com back in 2011.
After a few email inquiries I learned that Ross Kardwell was one of the prospective casino owners that as Courage mentioned never opened.
Some of the inventory was stored at Kardwell and also at ASM Portland.

This is a very rare opportunity to buy ASM chips made for a real casino....just like mint/near mint casino secondaries.
These chips are fantastic. Snap buy if I had the extra cash.

No fracs. $1s were made but not readily available imo. Could be remade with Turks & Caicos inlay I imagine.

Beautiful set!! The $1k chip is my favorite, it would make an awesome color combo for a Cali set $5 chip.

Is the base Canary on the $1k chip?
 
Cases currently on sale at Spinettis were illicitly retained by Clay Rollah in violation of CPC buyout agreement and later sold off at pennies on the dollar so he could buy more... (Well I won't say specifically as I have no firsthand knowledge, but y'all can guess what that guy was allegedly into spending his money on.)

Atlantic Standard Molding would never have sold that case for less than $200, even without the custom engraving. You won't find one elsewhere with the original "pokerchips.com" plate still on it, outside of a member's personal collection.

GLWS Chris! If I had managed to hold on to my first 2 nights DCS profits instead of donating them all, I might have grabbed these babies. :oops:

They were getting sold before that actually. Many were originally sold around ~2008 from ASM. I only know because Matthew (one of the orig mods from big blue) lives down the street from me and we used his set for home game tournaments. He was very proud to own almost half of the 1K's made due to the rarity (apparently 100 made of those). The one thing I'm not sure is whether he got an early special sale or if Jim posted them FS on blue. If not posted FS on blue then Jim prob sold them discretionary style.

Discussion of site moderation not permitted on PCF according to late addition to TOS. Former avatar too risque prolly.
 
Is there 2 more barrels of the Turks $500 chips not shown in the group pic?
Does the 1k Trinidad chip come with the set?

I want these way more than I should......
Might have to go t the basement and pull something out to sell.......

Some of the stuff they flag is crazy. Most of the time its a few months to a few years old.
