Mind posting a few pics when you have a moment?

@BNM

I murdered one of them to see how easily the label would come off. The label comes off without too much work, but it leaves a gummy film.

Just a magic eraser? Dry? We cut our magic erasers into 8 squares, pour about a dime size amount of dish soap on the eraser. Depending on inlays we also soak the chips in warm soapy water for about 10 minutes. After we hand dry each chip... one to get remaining water off and 2 just as a second cleaning... they come out fantastic!! Then use the compression method of oiling!!

Mardi Gras in the back oiled up and ready to join the others. About 1.5 hours washing these 2 racks of 36mm ready for oiling!!

Similar to what you describe. A combo of dry eraser, warm water with a bit of dish soap. Or I'll just use the warm water, dish soap and a sponge. Just depends on how much hooker juice I'm removing.

Latex gloves help too. The trauma kind that go past your wrist lol.

Many thanks! How slippery/hard to handle are you finding them?

It does take some getting used to. At first, I had a hard time shuffling them. I'm good at it now.

They made me like them enough that I bought a 1000 of the LIghthouse chips. Same rounded edge.

I also got a sample set of the Emerald Bay with the flat edges. I might get some customs made with the flat edges. To me, they feel real similar to a Bud Jones V7.

Have you handled the Lighthouse chips? From what I remember, I didn’t like them at all. I do have a custom set of Matsui’s and they don’t feel the same. I later heard that Matsui has used different materials. Currently I believe the 2 materials used are nylon and ABS.

I've used them in a few short handed cash games (after a tournament). They do weigh a little more than the Radison. The Radison are around 11.75 and the Lighthouse are around 11.9. The Lighthouse red is also a little brighter, but I thought that could be because the Radison are used and the Lighthouse are new. They do feel a little different. I wouldn't say one feels 'cheaper' than the other though.

I just wanted to thank @The Chip Exchange for his awesome customer service. I am always hesitant to post details for fear that my out-of-the-ordinary transaction will be expected by someone else down the road.

Suffice it to say that I had 2 ideas after the fact, and @The Chip Exchange made them both happen. He even sweetened the shipment a bit. Really above and beyond customer service if I was the only order... But extremely awesome given the fact that there were so many other orders keeping him busy.

Thanks, @The Chip Exchange! You are an asset to this community.

Couldn't be more happy & excited to get these in play! Great chips and a great value! Haha, ordered more! Thanks The Chip Exchange !

So you bought the 500 set and then added on to that? What are you covering with your 800 setup?

Received my package today! Thanks @The Chip Exchange, all is in order!

Radisson Arubas are brand new, still in cellophane and fantastic. Great colors, great feel. Will be a great T5 STT set. Considering an order to double this and cover two tables I like them so much.

On slipperiness if anyone is interested: I find them slightly more slippery than the sample stack of Abbiatis I handled when they are parallel to each other in tall stacks, but I find them much less slippery than Abbiatis when picking them up, handling them, etc. as the edges feel far less slippery to me. This is consistent with my experience with the Emerald Bay Matsuis, also.

Anyway, great chips!

I’m glad you like lighthouse, maybe it was just that rack I saw/handled. Can’t remember if they were used or new. It just stuck in my mind because I assumed Matsui only used the same material across their plastic line.

The biggest surprise to me is how much I like these hundos. I'm not a fan of plastic chips but these are awesome. Another local member and I combined our order to save a few bucks on shipping. If we hadn't I would have probably never had a chance to handle them. Really like the colors too.

Is that all you got? I was thinking about getting a set of those. Got more?
