...as I sink deeper into the abyss, I'm finding a need for a set of these. I'm looking for any PCNY chips in mint or near mint condition. Looking for racks of anything as I'm starting from scratch. PM me if you have something to sell.
 
At this point, I'd put the odds at about 7:1 that they are either stolen or removed from previous owner's possession without his permission or knowledge (ex-wife, etc.). Maybe higher.

I did a little research about this eBay seller and since I think he's a total idiot, possibly a thief, shill betting low life, etc. I pulled my sniper bids. No way I'm buying chips that are in question. In fact, if it could be somewhat proven he stole or sold stolen chips, I think the real owner would have some actions to take.

...turns out that I now know Dazzlers real name and all accounts are he is living either in Hofuf or Riyadh. It is going to be easy to contact him if any Brits over hjere know him. He posted a bunch of photos including some from the cycling group the Riyadh Wheelers. Guys in this camp know those guys. I hope Dazzler still has his boots in the sand, has brought all his PCNY to Saudi, and needs money. If they were stolen, I hope he goes after that friggin' bore.

The email from the Wheelers included that they know him by name and await the start of the cycling season for him to appear as he does (racer). That would confirm his location living about an hour south of me and still north of Riyadh in Hofuf. I have no doubt I will find him and we'll have a chat. It is very hot now so no races.

I'll repeat here to anyone who cares. I would never buy chips that I felt were potential stolen and then fenced. Any honest seller would have no problems giving details in a honest way. That said, I feel these could be stolen, the seller is a jerkoff, and has been caught with pants on fire. I needed those PCNY 1s real bad but I'd easily trade my racks of Mapes 25s to get them before I'd resort to buying these. Karma...

Dave, Now that he has another one of Dazzler's sets up, what are your odds?
 
Good luck in the search! It was up toss up between these and a Vineyards set. Vinyards set won for now but since when have I been content with one set... Or ten for that matter.

It is strange, then again, some people are just strange.
I asked him why he was thinking of throwing out the chips... if you are in the business of selling things, your personal opinion about that item (barring it being dangerous, etc. for the buyer) would not cause you to want to throw them away instead of selling them.
 
His refusal to provide any kind of rational explanation regarding how he got the chips speaks volumes. So does his refusal (by ignoring the topic) to create an account here to disprove the john-boy allegations. Total scumbag, caught with his pants down. Currently playing the woe-is-me card.
 
I just hope that I meet Dazzler very soon. If those chips were lifted from him, then perhaps the community will find out who bought them. The PCNY 1s went for 350 a rack so it is very very likely a CT or PCF member has them or will soon. There is hell, purgatory, and all kinds of imaginary bad places that people believe in. I would not want to be the owner of those chips if and when this community found out. Remember on The Brady Bunch when the kids kept that friggin' Tiki?...Karma...
