Hello everyone,

I’m acquiring materials to start my 88”x44” poker table as soon as the winter dies off up here in Massachusetts. I have done some good digging on here and come up with some great websites to buy from such as YAT.

I’m looking to use the upper end of materials to try and make the table as close to Casino like as I can. Does anyone have any recommendations for best speed felts, rail vinyls, and foam. I have spent hours looking but what looks good might not feel good/ be easy to work with. Any suggestions/recommendations would be appreciated!

Thanks!

Hi and Welcome.
I built my own table using high end semi stretchable black vinyl for the rail covering at my local fabric store. They have a huge selection, but one that has some stretch is best to prevent wrinkle on the corners in my opinion.
I purchased the high density 1.5" thick rail foam from a poker supplier in my area, and it is really comfortable to rest the arms on.
I've had a few various poker cloths on my table, one being the suit speed cloth which is best for card sliding across the table when dealing. I ordered a few custom cloths, 1st one being more of a felt type, which was Ok, but my latest cloth is a casino grade cloth with decent speed, and easy to keep clean. This is my prefered cloth to date.
I'm sure there are many options and suppliers in your area or online. PM me if you need any more info

My recommendation:
Get a chanman custom gaming suede. I've had suited speed cloth and a gaming suede from another supplier. Nothing else comes close to print quality, feel and card speed.

If you're spending upwards of $1000 on a table with high quality materials, don't safe on the actual playing surface.

Chanman Poker Tables for your suede.
1" Premium HD rail foam from Your Auto Trim.
Whisper vinyl from Your Auto Trim.

The padding under your gaming suede will have the most opinions......from Volera, neoprene, to HD open cell foam. I've built two tables.......one with two layers of 1/4" Volera and the other with 3/8" neoprene. I prefer the Volera. Next table may be combo of 1/4" Volera or neoprene with 1/4" HD foam on top.
