Poker Chip Buying Advice (1 Viewer)

Hello Guys,

I've held local poker cash games for the past two years and would finally like to upgrade from the basic plain dice set poker set. However, as I'm located within the UK finding a reliable poker chip retailer seems impossible. I'm looking for a set between 300 - 500 with any denominations and a budget of ~.50p a chip. Hence, I'm asking for advice on where might be the best place to purchase said chips and what type of chips might be best.

Hi there and welcome. Being based in the UK, your options are limited if you have high standards. I bought a 500 chips dunes set from apachepokerchips (US based company) back in 2020, and the chips cost around £250 including shipping. They’re great entry level chips and I’m still using them to this day. The price might have gone up in the last 4 years, worth a check. The only advice I would say is to plan a good breakdown of each denomination in case you want to host higher stakes etc, there’s loads of amazing guides on this forum.
