I am new on this site and I use to have a really nice PNY set many years ago but had to sell due to needing the money at the time. I have decided to start building another set but it seems they aren't as available as they were years ago. Is this site and eBay really the only places you can find any? I just picked up 2 racks of 25 primaries and I have a feeling its going to take me a really long time to find all the ones I am wanting to include 5's, 100 and 500 primaries, and 1000's. I have been watching for the last week or so trying to look everywhere and can't find anything.

I think I saw a rack of 1s in the classifieds here today or yesterday. $300 or some such number rings a bell.

Yea, I have found 2 racks on 1's for sale but I want to stick with 5, 25, 100, 500, and 1000's. I am thinking it will take me a while to aquire everything I want.

You can use the search function in the classified to see all the sales in the last few months. There are very few sets that have come up for sale, and even worse is the fact that they may not be the denoms you're looking for. Two other issues will be primary vs. secondary and the price of higher denom chips $100/$500/$1000) can be heart-stopping. But, all I would say is be PATIENT and keep looking. I literally finished my set last week after 9 months of buying and selling small sets and adding a few bits and pieces by putting multiple WANTED ads in the classifieds.

Good luck...there are many who hate the over-sized inlay. l live/play in NY. Couldn't imagine not having a PNY set.

Thanks. I will look in the search and at least that will give me an idea of what they are going for.

We're going to need to get together for a game. I've met a few other NYC players, including @Esection and @SemiNumerical. We've got some good folks.

I think one of the main reasons I want them is because I use to have a set that I was forced to sell about 9 years ago. I have regreted it every since and now I would like to match the set I had. At the time I had about 300 5's, 300 25's, 200 100's, and about 25 1000's all primaries except the 1000's were secondaries. For some reason I like the looks of the 1000 secondaries better.

If money is no object they're easy to find https://www.ebay.com/itm/121956715987

LOL. I have made several offers to that dude...he thinks his PNY set is made of GOLD

Welcome to the forum. It is tough to get a playable set of PNY's. I watched the forums for over a year before I found one. My highest denom is a 100. I use mine as a cash game.

Good Luck in your search. I love the giant inlay sexiness!!!!
