Hello All!

Finally kicking off the auctions of my PNYs. I'm going to work up through the denominations two at a time so I don't get overwhelmed. Full collection to be sold is in the table at the bottom of the post. Here are the blue quarters. This auction is for 1 rack, but as stated in the rules, the winning buyer has the option to buy up to 3 racks at the winning bid price (per rack obviously). Chips are in brand new condition. Any questions just shout them out - I'm trying something a little different around buying 1 versus multiple racks, so i hope it goes smooth.

Happy bidding & thanks for looking!

  • STARTING BID: $250
  • Bids must be placed in minimum increments of $5
  • The Starting Bid of the auction will be treated as the Reserve Price.
  • All bids are to be placed openly in this thread. No bids via PM/Conversation.
  • Auction will use the '5 minutes after last closing bid rule'. Highest bid at 8pm Central Saturday October 13th will win unless there is a bid within 5 minutes of closing time (between 7:55 & 8:00) - then the closing time will be 5 min. after the latest bid was posted.
  • Edited posts will be voided.
  • Winning bidder will purchase at minimum one lot of the offered denomination. Winning bidder will then have the option to purchase as many lots of that denomination as desired for the winning bid price.
  • Should the winning bidder not want all lots available, the next highest/chronological bidder will be given the opportunity to purchase as many lots remain for the price each bidder offered. This process will continue down the list of bidders until all lots are accounted for or no potential buyers exist.
  • I reserve the right to: i) cancel the auction if no bids have been made; ii) edit the listing to correct errors or clarify rules as needed; or iii) resolve sales of unconfirmed lots in any manner after the process outlined in points 7/7a are exhausted (allowing 24 hours for responses to any offers)
  • PCF (it's Owner, Admins, and Moderators) are in no way responsible for any actions in this auction.
  • Shipping Terms: Buyer to pay applicable flat rate box pricing depending on the quantity of chips won, international will be actual cost
  • Payment Terms: Paypal Friends and Family

Wow! Three racks of the hotstamps! A great opportunity for the best frac that was made in a good quantity. GLWS

Thanks guys... yeah the time has finally come with these. They've been pretty decorations for too long!

Good for everyone else, but I'm sad to see you breaking up such an epic set. Keep a playable batch for yourself or you'll regret it! ;)

It’s just too epic for its own good right now. It’s a hoard for hoardings sake. And yes. I’m breaking off and keeping a nice 600 chip set for myself that will meet my playing needs

There are a lot of new people around PCF these days. In the interest of openness and honesty, it would be nice if you advised that these hot-stamped quarters are not actual PNYs -- that is, they are not chips ordered by and made for the proposed casino.

Yeah I may have taken that for granted. No intent to deceive anyone of course. The pictures should show that these chips are on one of the former home market molds, and were commissened by the community some years ago to be made as an add on to the authentic casino set.

Good point, Larry. There were no fracs in the PNY rack, so there were several iterations of different buys, including this and a pink chip on the same Paulson home mold. Since having a frac for this set required creating one, this was simply the best (IMO) of many creations to fill the need where no original chip existed. The color fits the set, it is a spotted Paulson chip created for this purpose (on this mold) with great feel and was a cohesive addition that is now hard to find as they were made in limited amounts and don’t show up for sale often.

Thanks and to @Swift618 @Jeff for the clarifications! Really cool to always be learning more each day on this site about my new obsession :)

Yes the set has an interesting history and there’s been a bunch of add on extras created over the years like the dealer buttons and rebuy\bounty chips (which I’ll also be selling too).

So if any folks are looking at any of the other pny denominations... what's better auction timing... spaced out or run them overlapping a little... looking for thoughts.
