Please stack shame my son. (1 Viewer)

Thanks for all the comments, everyone!

We were playing .05/.10 NLHE, with a $10 buy-in, so the shame was about the sloppiness, not the small amount.

We had a discussion a few weeks ago about how he should really try to keep his stacks more organized. At first, he pushed back: "it doesn't really matter." So we started talking about a couple reasons why neat stacks are better, such as knowing how much you have, and having more room to handle cards, shuffle, deal, etc. Then he started realizing some other benefits on his own, such as being respectful to adjacent players, and just looking like you know what you're doing at the table. So I was hassling him about his sloppy stacks, and told him I was going to share the pic on PCF to shame him. He's enjoyed reading all the comments, laughing out loud at a couple, particularly...
"Look at those cute little baby stacks. Remember, it's not the size of the boat, son, it's the skill of the skipper"
He also appreciated @FDLmold's support. :)

We have a guy in my office game that doesn’t stack his chips. He has a big splashed pot in front of him and picks chips out to bet. Drives me crazy.

Clearly not a fondler.

I, on the other hand, like my stacks tall and tight... more arm room, right? One night, this one doofus at my game (age 50ish) was so enthralled with the height of my stack... "oooh! it's going to fall man!", so the other doofus to my right (age 55ish) thought it would be hilarious to bump the table hard (and unnaturally) enough to knock them over, splashing them directly right into my neighbor's stack. Luckily, the guy knew exactly what he had after winning the last hand, so we were able to sort it all out, but it took everything I had not to grab the doofus who knocked them over by the neck and toss him out - after 20 mins or so of giggling to himself, he apologized for knocking them "into the other stack"... not for knocking them over, there was nothing wrong with that.

So I guess the lesson I learned is: when playing with children or doofuses (doofi?), keep the stacks short.

A guy who played in my game used to do this. He’d announce ”Earthquake!” and rock the table. It was funny once. After that not so much.

Okay, which one of you wise guys took my chip stack?

If I jam, will you fold?

I can't remember the last time I ran this good!

Easy game. In a week, I will be doing this full time.

If you think my stack looks weak, you should see my Dad's.
