I would not advise trying this. Very cool texture and feel but not conducive to scratching anything off or adding on top.

I would think light sanding with high grit paper and some auto headlight cleaner/polish may get there however not sure if this has been tried already.

Its a risk and you may lose some of that characteristic swirl/shine, but maybe doable. Adding something onto it would be tough. If you end up trying, please let me know! Would be interested, maybe I was too pessimistic.
