After contacting PIATNIK, they no longer make the Bridge/ Jumbo index cards.
To get Bridge size with Jumbo index made on 100% plastic cards packaged in the black and clear cases we know, The minimum order is 3000 decks.
This order can be in 2 colors, so 1500 of each color.

I'd like to find 20 buyers to team up with to buy the 3000 decks.

This would work out to 75 double set ups per buyer.

As of now with conversion rates etc. I'd estimate (without the reshipping) a double set up is $14

So $1050 gets you 75 set ups.

Technically as it is a new printing we could use any artwork we like and any colors.
To keep it simple and because I like the face cards as is, id keep with those. But we could play around with the backs and the back colors.

Also, id considered the idea of just being a vendor and doing the purchase alone but contemplating the reshipping of individual decks gave me a headache, and i'd have to charge $30 a set up just to make it worth while, After paying taxes , shipping costs etc etc etc etc..... So probably not going this route.

TLDR:

1) PIATNIK no longer make Bridge/ Jumbo
2) Minimum order for them to make it again is 3000 decks
3) Approximate cost is $7 a deck, but can make 2 deck set ups with 2 colors in the 3000 order.
4) 20 people at $1050 each, Not looking to do a massive 100 person Group buy.

Please post your interest in this thread.

It's not a first come first in thing. If I know you or have had history with you before then those people would take priority,

If there's lack of interest I may abandon project or just run it with less people.

Right now i'm information gathering and nothing will be happening or money changing hands until list is complete , one way or another.

ty ty.

Also looking for input on card back color:

Just a bit outside of the amount I would be able to commit to.

If anyone wants to "split" a block of 75 decks, I'd be in for 10 to 15 set ups.

@Buge, @liftapint and myself are in for a piece of a 75 set up group. I just can't front it right now. Trying to recover from whiskey allocation season, and gotta save a bankroll for the Boise meetup. :wtf:

I'd be in for 10ish setups.

So @BonScot art I assume.......?? :wow::ROFL: :ROFLMAO:

Our crew prefers poker/jumbo, and I know I'd be on the fence until I knew the colors picked for the backs. Combinations involving burgundy/brown/green are a real problem for me if two decks are in use as I cannot tell them apart at all. Sorry...as much as I'd like to jump on this directly, I'm out.

That said, if someone else in Canada is picking up some, I may ask for 1-2 setups be added to their order.

I’d be up for a handful.
Good opportunity to get some different colour backs going.

For anyone who hasn’t used piatnik cards, they are definitely one of the best card stocks around.

Can we get some photos up @MatB ? Might entice more buyers.

not my photo of the red deck, but this should give you an idea.

Design and color of backs can be changed, but the face cards I'd like to keep. This Piatniks 'international' faces. With the Juno index naturally.
