I’ve played with these exact chips. These are kick ass chips. Perfect tournament set!

That ESPN table is mine. Very good table for the money. We sat 8 and it was perfect. 9 may be a little tight, and 10 people might be hard.

GLWS bro!

All I can say is that this hobby is extremely addictive and I love it, can’t stop, or at least right now. I purchased this set two weeks ago. It is beautiful, and I am sad to let it go but I need to make room for a dream set and it’s my loss.

I'm in basically the same boat with a 1000 chip set of Milanos....Love them...buuuuuuuut....Paulson's....mmmmm!!!

I just played a tournament last night w Paulson Classics and I was about to pull the trigger on a large set of Majestics but now I’m on the fence. Maybe I should wait. There’s nothing like Paulsons. And the new ones w the white edge spots are nice but not like Paulsons at all.

So I started chipping earlier this month.... I almost bought a CC set of Dunes for cash, but ended up waiting and cobbling together a mixed Paulson cash game set. I do feel like it's worth it and am super pleased.

But I feel that the Paulson higher denoms can be so expensive (500s and 100s going per barrel) that a tournament set might not be feasible for me to justify this year. So I think if you like the Paulson feel, maybe do a cash game set, and if you need a tournament set, go with something like a CC.

Basically, my 2c for new chippers, this CC seems like a great way to go for a ready to go tournament set! GLWS

Thanks. My dream set is a complete set of Paulson National Poker Series set but they’re almost unavailable or very expensive. I think I’ll probably buy a tournament set and possibly slowly put together a cash game Paulson set over time. Getting obsessed tho looking this stuff up all day.

Yeah it is pretty insane. I look at the classifieds every day and see new things I've never thought of. I keep seeing new chips and thinking, maybe I should start a set like that or build another set....it's a sickness...

My dream set is either a cash or tournament set of Paulson Dunes....but those don't come up and I assume are crazy expensive...

Old home game solids seem to be the best way to build an affordable Paulson tourney set. Piece them together over time, then maybe send them to Gear for milling and labeling. That said, I like my Majestics just fine.

I’ve been getting a lot of sample sets lately from all the usual places. I had an old sample set of Great Wall chips from a while back and I have found a similar version but they’re only customs, so pricey. They are the closest chips I’ve seen to Paulsons tho. They really feel nice. But of all the samples of stock chips I’ve gotten, I really like the look and colors of the Majestics. I think I’ll start there.

For tournament, the recent GPI chips or the Apache’s Elite is very affordable as clay chips.

Let’s remember that this is a classified not a general chip discussion thread. Someone is trying to sell chips, so discussing alternative purchases to potential prospects isn’t really productive, and hurts the sellers chances of getting a sale. Just an FYI.

Sorry for being off topic here.
My intention was not to hurt seller chances of getting a sale.
My apologies...

I have to say thank you @Polochris for saying something about this. Over the last several days I have seen multiple experienced members make comments directly on this sales thread that bash/deter away interest on these chips that I am selling. It is one thing to have a separate discussion with a member but doing it directly on a sales thread is Bad Form.

I have to say I am disappointed to see so many negative post on my sales thread about chips that are IMO some of the best mid-tier chips available and affordable. Thought I would of had more support from members and this community.

@Teggy, I apologize. I remember posting my recommendations, but reading this thread agin, it's easy to forget that it's a sale thread, with all the mentions of tables, dream sets, and Paulsons. I should have been more aware. My bad. :(

That said, I don't think anyone was trying to bash your chips, or deter your sale. And to be fair, @markleteenie even put in a solid plug for your CC's. Also, all these comments keep your thread bumped to the top. :D

I haven't personally handled the Pharaoh's, but I have Majestics and Spirit Molds, and they're a really nice step up from the cheap plastic sluggos, and I think the Pharaoh's are well designed with colors and edgespot progression. Good luck with the sale, and I can't wait to see your dream set!
