Time for a bump. My very first set of Paulsons was a hand picked set of PCRs from Apache with a mix of the original PCR and newer Avalon colors. This was back when I ran T5 base tourneys:

As much as I loved this set, two things happened a couple of years after they came in. First was that my crew was looking to move to a T25 base tourney. And second was that I caught the PNY bug. Knowing I'd likely never find more of the avalon colored 500s & 1ks, and given they would rarely get used as is, I sold them (pre-chipping boom, bleh). While the decision was ultimately correct, its always bugged me - probably my lone chipping regret. I found a cash set a year or two later that I love, but still missed the IMHO gorgeous 25s and hundos. Well, after a suedo impulse buy, I can say that regret is now rectified

Do these ever show up in the classifieds? Would love to expand my 5s and would kill for a couple racks of 1s. It’s been a nightmare just find 1-2 of each. I gave a chip to every player at my final home game in TN 10 years ago, and am trying to recomplete my set. Paid $30 for one pink chip. Apache had a 100 and a couple yellows laying around…Josh Shore is the man. Still looking for 4 red chips.

Cash set plus extras. This is a mix of PCRs and Avalons. All PCR for the lower ($1/$5) denoms, Avalon for the higher ones ($100/$500), mixed with the green v2 $25s. The pinks and silvers are NCVs.

Bank is about 28K, but 18K of that is in high denoms. We get much of the other 8K in play most games. But the game keeps growing in stakes and buyins, so good to have room to grow.

Not seeing these in too many spots. Did they all vanish with CT?

I am trying to remember the selection lineup for what is V1 and V2.
I did a deep dive into my archived harddrives but did not turn up the official Apache pics (but lots of historic GB stuff maybe for later).

Wish I had done V2 greens and V1 blacks for the tourney set
but wound up with opposite mix after buying sets and doing trades to get others (and wound up with some obviously big overages ).
Maybe I'll work that out with trades for a smaller set while drastically reducing all this.

The 2nd shot shows, in front of them, Avalons in boxes (of which are half non-denoms per color).
Wish I had done them all PCR though. The Avalon solids are maybe customs done for me when the separate lineup of Grand Cardroom chips were being made. Have also +200 PNY 614 greens (not shown). All from the same family, just different stamps.
