But PCFers are paying way more than a buck apiece for Paris $1s...chips that they *know* can be had at the casino for $1 each. And buying them by the thousands.
If you want to argue it that way, then I bet PCFers bought a lot more Indiana Grand $1s this year than Paris $1s. But nobody is going to argue that those are PCF’s favorite $1s.
I see your point. Paris $1 definitely deserve some kind of honorable mention here. But put them on the ballot and see how they do.

Probably my all-time favorite Vegas $1. Great inlay, simple spots and a great old historic mold. (Image form the chipguide... I'll update/replace with a better pic with a minty example from my collection later)
My favorite "current" Vegas $1. Again, simple spots and the color matched lion on the inlay sings to me (and served as inspiration for my Arizona Club custom set). Has to be the earlier, larger inlay version like this. The newer ones with the smaller inlay just feel a little impotent.
And a close second. Great inlay, great spots and from an iconic Vegas casino. It's a shame the inlay got shrunk after this, and now they dropped the spots altogether.
