Interest PCF Topper group buy interest (2 Viewers)

What shape topper would you order?

What I would really like to know is if it would be cost prohibitive to make custom toppers. One-offs with our own personal house logos. But yeah, another casino logo would be cool. Starlites, Coke Giraffe, or one of the many recent custom group buys like the current New China Club ceramic buy.

But I do think there is still a market for the PCF toppers. We have new people coming in all the time. Whenever a PCF topper hits the classifieds, it gets snapped up IMMEDIATELY! Trust me on this. I've missed several of them because they sell within minutes.

Yeah, I keep meaning to reach out to Tommy to get the contact info for the vendor he uses so I can inquire about doing a custom topper GB. I just haven't gotten around to it. I suspect they won't be cheap, but maybe they will surprise me.

I have the same experience. Seen also by the interest in this thread, the PCF toppers go very fast.

I think one-offs would be expensive and probably a logistical nightmare if the ceramic chip GB is any indicator. I think the artwork would drag things out. However, there are sites that do it for table builds so based on them it looks like about $150 each (plus what you pay your designer and shipping). If I want a custom logo for $200 I would pump that into a full table build.

However, using Tommy's vendor to do another single design for multiple buyers might work.
 
These toppers are so good that it makes sense to build a table around them.
In terms of size, the 90x180cm is proven, either as oval or rectangle.
Another type, round one, at 120cm diameter, would be good for larger tables also.

The prohibitive factor for European members is the lack of possibility for direct shipment to Europe.

Yes to round!

One thing to keep in mind is that re shipping is complex and tricky. Tommy had a system that was very smooth. This is not an easy group buy to manage.
 
I’ve got no interest in designs that aren’t generic. Like, either the PCF topper or a green field with a betting line - that would be it for me. As the guy above said, if I’m going to be putting money into a custom felt, it would be for a table, not for a topper. And a design based on some group buy chips would not interest me.
But yeah, I’d grab a PCF oval topper.

Understood that designs around some casino chips or a group buy would be limited. But still possibly large enough to meet the vendor's MOQ and support their own group buy. Not every GB needs to appeal to a material percentage of the membership. It just needs to meet MOQs.

This is what I've been thinking. Use as a table topper now, and possibly build a custom table around it in the future. There's a commercial table builder (Triton maybe?) that uses toppers rather than padded felts on some of their builds. How cool would it be to have a table with several interchangeable toppers?
 
In for 1 or 2. Definitely interested in a custom option, but would also buy generic if that's the route the group buy goes.

There is no group buy thread. @Tommy runs the topper buys, and he has mentioned (back in another thread that I started) that there may be one coming up in January. I believe @BadMaths247 is just trying to help along the process as I was with my thread.
 
I have an oval and a rectangle ones and the quality is fantastic! A round one would be a fun choice (even though I personally don’t have a use for one)

Love my oval topper for the kitchen table, would be interested in a rectangle topper or 2 to go on some folding tables
 
@Theluckyhand2 you mentioned intrest in the toppers buddy, they are trying to gauge how much interest there would be if Tommy ran another one... if that is the route your are thinking of going you should speak up here as there is a minimum to run these again!

Still hoping that we go with a round one some day... don't really have a use for it currently but totally down for a table build to incorporate it. @Tommy posted a pic of his custom round table it either has the same felt or a topper build it and absolutely beautiful build!!
