Played vanilla back at the start in 2004 and did that straight until Cataclysm when I burnt out.

...then I did it all over again playing classic when that started up a few years back.... and did that straight until Cataclysm when I burnt out....

You were way more hardcore than me then. I went pretty hard in Vanilla, but then life took over, dabbled in Burning Crusade but couldn’t keep playing. Then over the years would go back in for an expansion or two at release, level up a character or two and then 1 man the old dungeons or ones I missed - was fun trying to single man the old dungeons where the mechanics allowed it.

I’ve been to Blizzcon a couple of times and been to the campus as well and had a few tours at Blizzard.

I tried doing the ‘new’ vanilla again and forgot how much of a time sink it was. Don’t have much time for it again but I’m sure I’ll be back again at some point for a trip down memory lane. As with all things in life, it was a time and a chapter with a fun guild and hard to get back to how it was.

Briefly considered doing a WoW themed CPC set.

Check out the first post for details, it’s actually in soft launch right now. I’m keeping a close eye on it to catch any bugs as more people start using it daily. I’ve already ironed out one or two minor issues, and everything has been smooth since then. If this keeps up, I’m planning to open it up to everyone in about a week.
