The soft launch of the new PCF Member Rewards system is here!
For now, Member Rewards will be available to supporting members only while we test everything in the real world and make sure it is running smoothly. Once it has been operating for a bit, the plan is to open it up to everyone.
So what are PCF Member Rewards?
You’ll be able to earn Reward Points by being active on PCF, supporting the site, and participating in the community. Those points can then be redeemed for entries into official PCF giveaways through a brand-new giveaway system that is currently being beta tested.
Winning prizes is always great, but winning prizes and earning more Reward Points along the way is even better. Some giveaways may even award Reward Points as the prize!
In the future, you’ll also be able to use Reward Points toward purchases in the PCF Store.
You’ll have a full transaction history so you can track exactly how you earned, spent, received, or transferred your points.
Members can also transfer points to each other. For example, maybe someone helped you with a chip sale, gave you a hand with something, or you just want to send a small thank you their way. You’ll be able to send them some Reward Points directly.
And, just like with the rest of PCF, community guidelines and house rules still apply. If a member repeatedly ignores the rules, their Rewards account can be frozen. While frozen, the account will not be able to earn, spend, send, or receive Reward Points. Points can also be deducted through a system adjustment transaction, if needed. Hopefully it never comes to that, though. The goal is for everyone to have fun, earn points, and enjoy the new Rewards system!
