I kept buying Jack chips idiotically instead. Idiocy won I’d say, since I don’t have any of the chips and I spent the $$$ anyways.

That was the last chance. Some noobs did realize their value and started buying them up. Within a year or two, people were putting out offers of $600 or $700 and not getting any. Then Batman set the market at $1250 and got all he wanted. Now, a few years later, $1400 seems like a fair price.
Not a lot of chips have increased in value since the Covid boom, but the good ones have.

Not to start all the Tiger drama up again, but I do think it's funny that people think $14/chip is something to scoff at for leaded, textured, shaped inlay thcs, when people are paying $10+/chip for none of that (besides the thc).

I support your venture. I just can’t afford to pull it off. I suppose I could, but I’d end up stressing myself financially and pissing off my wife for silly discs that don’t change the game I run or play. I’d not be able to justify since I have a few Paulsons already. . .

Yep, many of them Tigers. I have Tigers for which I paid $14+ each. Not proud but I feel ya brother!

My two racks are okay for now, but I've trimmed down my sets and the PCAs are one of the few keeper sets I have, so I'd like to get at least a 3rd rack of $5s. But it's a long game! No need to get these tomorrow.
