Ready to give up on the pca's and move on elsewhere. If there's any PCA's out there at a decent price shoot me a message or there may be a farm sale soon....

There are a shitload of PCA chips out there (I'm guessing well over 100k, someone else probably has the exact count). But they're also highly sought after and are considered by many to be one of the best all around sets on offer. Most chippers who have them cherish them, and probably aren't interested in selling. However, they do come up for sale several times per year. If you keep your eye on the classifieds, you'll eventually find some. Although it will probably require patience and several acquisitions to build the set you're after. My first real set was the Pick Hobson's Riverside chips, and I'm still trying to finish it a year and a half later. Others work on their dream sets for years, literally.

Good luck with the search, but don't pull your starting pitcher in the first inning just because he walked 2 batters.

Just be patient. Ive bought almost 4k PCA secondaries in the last 60 days. You have two options:

1. Wait for a classified ad, in which case you will likely pay market value at a minimum.

2. PM someone that has the chips you want and ask if they want to sell. In this case, you will almost surely pay more than market value.

Primaries can be found at a good price occasionally, sec not so much...

It has taken me over 4 years now to complete my Terribles Tourney set.....it has been playable for about 6 months now, but I still would like another barrel of $500's to make it "complete". I reckon it'll probably take me another 4 years to find these.

I know there are guys out there that took a lot longer to put together other sets

As they say Patience is a virtue! I can remember when I thought I would never find more Tropicana 2nd edition 1's. I had a small set with only 100 $1's. My "want" was to have at least 200 1's to make it playable. This all started in 2015. I kept searching, which is the fun of this hobby and now have over 400 1's. The fun is in the hunt!

May I suggest a specific want ad with quantities and denominations? Let people know exactly what it is you want. You never know.....

You do need to be very patient, I had to wait a year before I had the opportunity to buy my PCA set as well especially the higher denoms.

When I inevitably get into purchasing one of these sets PCA, Empress, etc, I will also likely have to endure 12-24 months of waiting lol
