PC? Horseshoe Cincinnati OH (6 Viewers)

Not really sure where to do PC threads but saw this post and thought this may be appropriate here. Let me know if this should be somewhere else.

Inventory:​

• 400 x 1 (primary) (Estimating $100/rack)
• 200 x 5 (secondary near-mint) (Estimating $225/rack)
• 80 x 25 (secondary mint)
• 20 x 100 (secondary mint)
• 1 x 500 (secondary mint)
• 7 x Paulson Racks

They've been kept in a Pelican with a moisture absorber. The 1's are in played condition, many flea bites. Most 5's are mint or near mint, I can count on one hand the number of fleabites. 25/100/500 are all mint.

Wondering what I can get for something like this. Any thoughts?

Sell History:​

1. Unsold, ebay. September 25. Listed 5k, claimed sold but price undisclosed.
2. Barrel of 1's - $15. Dec 25. Claimed low.
3. Barrel of used 500's - $31. Feb 26.
4. Rack of 5's - (maybe?) - $250. April 26. Took two months to sell.
5. Rack of 1's (comprable) - $100. April 26. Offering two bucks per chip per OP, unverified final prices.
6. 99 x 5's - $190. July 25.
7. Set for $840. Feb 26. Somewhat comprable, but includes .25 fracs, less 1's (the least valuable), and one more barrel of 100's (valuable)
8. Rack of 1's ($110/ea), Rack of 5's ($225/ea). Jan 26. Sold fast.
9. Cash set, mixed - $800 (unverified). Mar 26. Lower condition 5's and 25's.
10. Rack of $5 (overlabeled) - $180/ea. Aug 26. Unverified, overlabeled.
11. Rack of $25 (primary) - $135. Mar 26.
12. Cash set, mixed - $850. May 26. Firm price, unsure if sold. Mixed casino set.
13. Rack of 1's ($100/ea), Rack of $5's ($100/ea), Barrel of 25's ($50/ea), Barrel of 100's ($60/ea). April 25. Unknown condition.

Are the blue chips the boulder fracs? they look great like this.

Looks like Santa Ysabel. Nice fit. Are we supposed to include those in the valuation?
I think you are correct with the 1s and 5s.
I don’t think any of your comps show the same version of the $25s.
It’s a nice breakdown. Especially if the SYs are fracs. Would be an easy sell

Those, as @CardRally predicted, are indeed the Santa Ysabel 1's!
I got some custom labels for a cash set to match the rest, but decided I was too lazy to finish off the set after doing a grand total of one relabel.

CardRally, no, I wasn't planning on selling those with the set. Just the Horseshoes.

For history/others looking, here's one general guideline from a member's DM:

General pricing I’ve seen for the last 2 years:

• $1 = $100 / rack, but w/ some cleaning, could see as high as $125 - you won’t ever find these non-used they were all in circulation
• $5 = $250 / rack, NM (these are definitely tougher to find these days in NM condition)
• $25 = $225-250 / rack, NM
• $100 = $300-$350 / rack, NM
• $500 = $350 / rack, NM

For your set, realistically you’ll be around the following

• $1’s = $400
• $5’s = $500
• $25’s = $50 / barrel = $200
• $100’s = $75 / barrel = $75
• I’d say close to ~ $1,100 total shipped if moving altogether, but could probably make a little more if you were to split it off

Another via DMs:

I'm no expert but I'd say $125/rack for the $1s. Yours seem a little nicer than the other used racks I've seen. And starting there, you have room to drop the price a bit. I'd say the floor would be $100/rack.

The $5s near mint are harder to come by. Worth $200-$225 per rack if sold individually. Start on the higher end of the range if you don't mind waiting for a buyer, or lower if you want to sell quick.

The $25s and $100s should fetch ~$3/chip.

For a whole set, maybe $1200 with room to drop the price if it doesn't sell quickly.

Are you looking to sell your chips? If you are, let me know! I may be interested in them when the time comes to sell! I am most interested in the higher denomination chips but may consider the entire set depending on the price.

TCR just posted a thread selling these, prices a quite high - im about to sell mine too so I've based my pricing on that and increased based on the condition of my chips vs theirs
