Ok, So I've been at this for awhile now, and I think I have finally decided on the chips I'm using for my used tourney set. Kinda cali inspired. It started off being a micro cash set but morphed into a tourney set.

The chips:
T25 - 300 $0.50 El Dorado Club
T100 - 300 $1 Lucky Derby
T500 - 200 $1 Town Tavern
T1000 - 200 $5 Lucky Derby
T5000 - 100 $1 Casino Royale

I still need to come up with a label design and clean and mill the chips. And I'll probably sale some other chips for sale that I'll think will work better. But for now this is the set.

Would love to hear your comments on what I have put together.

Also, although I really like the Casino Royale, I'm concerned about milling it. Can a inlay'ed chip be mill the same way as a hot stamped chip? Or do I need to remove the inlay first? I was hoping that I could just put it the drill press and treat it like the hot stamped chips.

I'd recommend just removing the existing inlays and replacing them with identical size labels. Since they probably aren't exactly centered on every chip, milling will not produce the concentric circle results you want (even if inlays are removed first).

Hey Arch3r. You don't need to mill the Casino Royales. Just remove the inlay. It's tedious, but swing by a hobby shop and grab a set of dental picks and a nice blade. The first couple will probably take a lot longer than once you get the hang of it. This thread below has some good info. The nail polish remover hasn't worked well for me on the chip n deal fives I've been working on, but once you get the laminate off, it's just a matter of lifting the vinyl enough to get an edge and then slowly pulling it up (and hoping it doesn't tear along the way). Good luck!
