Palm Beach Cruise Lines (PBCL) (West Palm Beach, FL - 1997) Spotted Leaded Paulson THC $5s - 100x
About the chips:
Up for auction is a rack of seldom seen Palm Beach Cruise Lines (PBCL) (West Palm Beach, FL - 1997) leaded Paulson Cherry & Red THC $5 chips with Peach and Metallic Gold spots.
These are the real deal, not fakes or tributes or relabels or inlay replaced or otherwise murdered in any way.
Note that these chips are casino used, have some wear, including nicks - but they’re still gorgeous IMNSHO. I grabbed a random barrel, and 10 chips stood on edge, and 10 chips did not.
Like Empress (Joliet) primary $5s, some of the chips were made in Paulson Cherry, and some were made in Paulson Red. There are 35 Cherry chips in this rack. Also like the Empress, some of the chips are consistently a bit darker than Paulson Red, and don’t match up with any Paulson color sample (I like to call this darker version “Blood Red”). 52 chips in this rack are the normal Paulson Red, with 13 chips being the “Blood Red”. The chips are sorted by color in the rack photos so that you can more easily see these differences.
These chips look great, and with textured and shaped inlays, they feel great, too! These are heavyweights, clocking in at an average of 10.9 grams/chip.
Please look at all the photos carefully, and zoom in to judge condition for yourself BEFORE bidding!
