A tribute set to the boat that never sailed.

I've been working on this set for what seems like forever. The central pieces are the Jamaican 5K and the American 25K—two of my favorite Empress Star chips. Over time, I added racks of each and several options for other denominations. This is the final lineup I settled on, and I'm quite happy with how the set turned out. The $500 is likely the only chip I'm going to replace; I already have some ideas for the base color. Suggestions are welcome!

I designed the labels myself, using the original Pacific Star sketch as a starting point. @Gear printed the labels and did a phenomenal job, as always. Thank you, Chris and Andrea!

You're going to break the internet.

First time seeing the Tiger $1s relabeled as a cali hundo, set is stupendous. Well done.

It's usually very hard to find a white chip special enough to be used as hundos as they are mostly $1s... I think those Tigers work though, they pop as hundos... But I'm biased, obviously...

Awesome job Paulo! The set is gorgeous! I appreciated the “sneak peek”, but the full story and more detailed pics really set these babies in their own league! The detail in your labels and chip selection for each denomination is fantastic!

CD38 works great for $100’s.

Do your labels have color matched rings around the edges, or do they just go white all the way to the edge of the inlay?

Sweet Set. Dig the Gray $500. Thanks for sharing.

I like that $500 in isolation but not sold yet on it by the white $100s (both have very light base color)... I have a different 43mm barrel on the way as a replacement. Heck, I might keep two versions of the $500...
