Ah, my favorite charity: Lawrence Taylor's "Joe Theismann Memorial Make-a-Wish Foundation."

One of the best things about retiring and moving to Florida was getting away from Deadskin fans, and no longer working a block away from Theismann's restaurant.

What a scumbag. His family pronounces their last name Theez-man, but that didn't rhyme with Heisman (as in the trophy), so he and the Notre Dame publicist changed it.
 
nycz = nyc (just has a z at the end to make a more available username since nycalex or nycxalex is usually taken)

my friends used nycz before I did though and eventually i did too since the name was easier to tkae.
 
Since I have minimal original thoughts, my name comes from the movie Smokin Aces (when describing the Tremor brothers):

The 44 is for .44 Magnum. I added it to all my old AIM (yes, AIM, my family was too poor for actual AOL) screen names because I thought it sounded cool. Now I just use it as a tribute. I don't even like guns. [emoji3]

I chose a duck as my avatar because I collect Swarovski ducks, and I figured it would be an ironic pairing with MegaTon.

Milo Bloom is the title character of the greatest comic strip ever created, Berkeley Breathed's Bloom County. "13" is my favourite # and I have used the combo on a few sites poker related, so it was a natural when I signed up here.
 
200 Motels is a movie by Frank Zappa and I'm a big fan of his. Not sure why I chose it over anything else Zappa related, but it stuck. Sites that didn't allow numbers, (Pacific at one point) I was 'ccmotels'. I think I used it on a poker chip form I frequented before here and the blue wall. It was 21ace dot com I believe. Anyone remember that spot?
 
Took my online handle name from my video gaming handle that I've used since I was a teenager. That being said, one of my favorite movies during that time and still is a great one that I watch periodically is "Payback" starring Mel Gibson. I love that movie because all Mel Gibson's character wants is the money he is owed and the bad guys can't understand that he's 'only' asking for his half which is $70,000.

Hmmm... I don't remember this movie. Free on Amazon Prime though, so I'll be watching it this afternoon, and judging your cinematic sagacity.

Not sure if I assumed it was the origin, but I always thought of the GZA lyric "I don't waste ink, nigga I think; I drop megaton bombs more faster than you blink" from "Liquid Swords" when I read your username.

As for my username, I have 7 kids: Jesse, Buck, Ulmer, Travis, Lisbeth, Ellory, and Richard. So I just use the first letters of their names in the order they were born and the result is the nonsensical word "jbutler".

I like that, especially since GZA is my favorite member of Wu Tang.

And I think you should name your next kid either Oscar if it's a boy or Yvonne if it's a girl. jbutlero sounds cultured and jbutlery sounds like something you would clean up in a nudey booth.
 
Mine has change a little, my first online screenname back in the early to mid 90's at SysOpt (Comptuer forum) was MissingthePoint, always loved that because of the irony.. and it shortened well to MTP.

Eventually I started hanging around with my older brother's car friends, and me being a pretty small person, I got the nickname lil' Stumpy.

Once I grew up a bit and became not the little kid, I got rid of the lil' and just becamse Stumpy.

Honestly I have no idea where the Go part came from, but I added it and it stuck, probably in the early 2000's.

Hell yeah, i too thought the very same thing and LIQUID SWORDS is by far my favorite WU......when i was little. ...my father was famous . ..people said his brain was infected by devils. ....Shit is weak like clock radio speakas

Luvcasinochipsncekid is pretty much exactly what it is, no bullshit i seriously had some infatuation with casino chips even more so than my father's and grandfather's amazing coin collection but i also really loved my father's LP records collection ......oh my god what a music trip he could take us down and of course he still has every single one kept in flawless condition. .. this is a fun thread thanks everyone
 
My username originated from my previous job, where I was a farmer in upstate New York. We had several crops, and our most notable was the iceberg lettuce. I'm still known in northern New York as the Lettuce King of The North Country. Anyway, they took to calling me "Iceberg Lettuce Man" in the various grocers that we delivered to, and it was later shorted to Iceberg Man and now just Bergs.

You misunderstand their motivation. They were throwing tomatoes at you 'cuz they wanted you to make like a head of lettuce and leaf.

This thread is hilarious. Especially jbutler and bergs. My nickname should be obvious. Like a few other slackers here, it's just my name backwards.

Actually it's my Xbox gamertag Gen9hisKhan. Or Jen-nine-his-khan as one of my buddies pronounces it.
