You can easily get up to a dozen or so chips in a 6x9 padded mailer for about $4-5 postage. Although I usually only ship ceramics and china clays this way. With mint / near mint clay chips you would probably want to do less chips to insure they don't rub and damage each other. Up to 6 should still be easily doable as long as each chip is protected.

You can fit 20 (or more) in a padded mailer for about $5. You can put up to 3-4 in a regular envelope with a small, thin piece of cardboard around the chips and put a non-machinable stamp on the envelope for less than $1.
