The Spinward Frindge Series. A self-published series available on Amazon by an ex-FedEx driver (I think that's his story) that now writes full time. It's a space-opera adventure (think the fantastic Firefly series, which I highly recommend!) where a crew takes their ship around fight bad guys, rouge technology, evil corporations, collect bounties, trade ect.

The first 3 short parts of the story are free if you search "Spinward Fringe Broadcast 0" on amazon, the rest of the series is $0.99-2.99 each and it looks like there are now 18 books!
