This would be a double board game.

Pre-flop: Each player gets four cards, the 1st Cinci community card is put out, and a round of betting.
Flop: Burn, 2nd Cinci card, Omaha flop, betting.
Turn and river (is that what they're called in Cincinnatti?) take place like any other double board game.

You play 2 cards for the Omaha board, and 1 to 4 cards for the Cincinnatti board.

What do you think?

No one likes it, huh? I guess we'll have to try it and let you know how it goes. :D

We play a lot of two-board games here. Haven't tried that one. My favorite is called 6-3-2. Get dealt 6 cards. Sort them into 3 holdem hands. Can't change them. Bet. Two flops. Discard one of your hands. Bet. Two turns. Discard another hand. Everyone has one holdem hand left. Bet. Two rivers. Bet. Half the pot goes to the best hand on each board.

Also play Homie-Ha, where you get dealt 7. Split them into a holdem hand and Big-O (5 card PLO) hand. One board. Half the pot goes to winner each way.

I would veto this if someone called it in my dealer's choice game for one reason: it's too complicated.

I'm not a fan of double board games where two high hands can win. When we play double board, pots are awarded to the single best high and low hands, regardless of which board they're made with.

We call that triple holdem.

We do high/high all the time. One high winner for each board.

I played a similar version where you were dealt two hands, but both must call bets and raises to remain live, and either or both hands could be mucked at any time. Both hands a player holds can be shown down. The only caveat is that both hands can't raise on the same street. You could play any flop game this way - but we played it with O8.

It was as dumb as it sounds. We played exactly one hand of this before it was vetoed.

In our version, your dealt one PLO hand. After the pre flop betting two boards are put out there, round of betting, two turns, round of betting, two rivers, round of betting.

Easy peasy

Most home game players I've met fall into one of two categories:

1) players who hate holdem and will try just about anything as long as the rules are clear.
2) players who feel like they're going wild when they play pineapple...and think PLO is WAY too crazy.

Ive observed that players from category 1 are about 10x more likely to play until 9am.
Guess which one I am? :whistling:

We had a small game last night. We got to three of us, and we were all willing to try anything. We played some double board crazy pineapple, SOHE, and ended the night with an hour of Cinci-ha. It was a blast! The Cinci board adds a level of trepidation, because any one could be holding 3 or 4 cards to make big hands. We basically just moved chips back and forth.

Im not sure I would want to play it at $1/2, but it was fun at 5¢/10¢. :D

Guess I should add a pic.
