FOR SALE: 900-Piece Vintage Flower Mold Set (ASM / Portland) — $0.75/chip — FREE CONUS Shipping. (SOLD FOR $500 to a new chipper)

These have always been one of my favorite molds, and this set has a great overall look to it.

Condition notes:

  • Edges are surprisingly sharp for their age — I’d say ~99%
  • A very small number of chipped chips
  • Could use a quick wipe/oil if you want them to really pop
  • Minimal warping, and they stack nicely

I had originally planned to mill and relabel these into a “Flower Power” set, but I never ended up choosing a label, so I figured I’d pass them along to someone who will actually put them to use.

Price: $0.75/chip

Shipping: Free to CONUS (insurance optional)

Total comes to $675 shipped for all 900 chips.

Payment: PPFF

“dibs” in the thread, then PM

If you want more pics, breakdown details, or close-ups of anything, I’m happy to grab them.

I don’t think these were made by Paulson. I think they were made by ASM or its predecessor (Portland)?
Any way cool chips.

Ah good catch — you’re right! They’re ASM / pre-ASM

Brain slip on my part — I’ve owned both over the years and I mixed up the wording while I was typing the post.

Listing updated.

And agreed — super cool chips either way.

Made by Burt or ASM. George & Co and Portland were distributors who would take the orders and maybe do the hot stamping. Occasionally they would have the exclusive use of a mold. I think Flowers has always been with George but I’m not certain

Lovely chips

Looks to be three chips of the lot have chips
