I'll start.
Here are my new game room chairs. They're made by a company called Hon, who manufactures high end office furniture.
The story of how I obtained them is rather funny. I answered a Craigslist ad that had these red chairs (with a fuzzy bad pic) for $10 each. I responded to some warehouse, where this lady was explaining that she was tasked with selling off all their company's chairs. Apparently, she works for an accounting firm, and their corporate office did a company-wide theme change, which necessitated the changing from red chairs to blue, and this batch of office chairs was only 6 months old at the time. I explained I was looking for chairs for my poker table, and the lady explained she had "stacking" chairs available, but since they were made by "Hon" they'd be $35 each. But I could have the red chairs for $10/each. The red chairs seemed to fit my game room better and they were very comfy, so I took all 11 red chairs she had left (she threw in the 11th chair for free, so I only paid $9 each). After my minivan was all loaded up, and money had exchanged hands, the lady looks into my van while the tailgate is closing, and looks suddenly shocked... She exclaims, "OMG, those are Hon chairs!" She noticed a label on the bottom of one of the chairs. She adds, "Those retail for $350 each!" .. She then looks at me with a defeated look and says "you got one hell of a bargain". Then she laughs and walks off to her car. At this point, I have no idea what a Hon chair is...
