Had another fun Friday night poker to end the week with the guys. Calm game this last time and we went through a bottle of Hibiki Toki to relax.
NLHE with two bomb pots again.
My only highlight of the night was being last to act in a bomb pot where 4 people ahead of me were already all in preflop. I figured on the top board one or two of them had 67 for the meme straight, but I had top two on that board for a chance to scoop. My 4 was already on the bottom row so diminished my outs but I don't like folding. In for maximum carnage. Luckily I hit my out on the turn.
Tried to run a couple of big bluffs but was gently reminded the rest of the crew hates folding as much as I do when I called a big all 3x on preflop and tried to bluff out AK in a possible straight on the flop.
In for $260 out for $180.

"the kid" taught me this lesson, Never go all in without at least the Nut Full house, as I say good buy to my chips.

We played .50/.50 for the first time last night, definitely enhanced the game. There was significantly more action, bigger bets, etc. Might never go back to .25/.50
