Was card dead forever. Down $30. Made it all on this final hand. Double straddle. Flopped an open ended straight. Jammed. 2 smaller stacks called. Nailed the straight on the river but the Ace high was good enough lol. Degens gonna degen.

$1/1 NLHE last night in the garage. First of all the HSIs looked really good…

For some reason my phone wasn’t able to handle the overhead light and the brightness of the chips. After the grief I gave @TheRealTeddyKGB about his pics on Thurs I think he messed with my phone when I wasn’t looking.

Anyways, some fun hands. River completed a straight and full house:

Then one player went all-in blind, opponent calls with KJd, flops a king and thinks he’s good until the blind hand is flipped over to reveal pocket kings!

And of course the 7-2 game was on…

Thanks @sethwanab, @Monaco, @Dread_Pirate_Roberts, @Vinyard, @RocAFella1, and @DirtyTIVA for another fun poker night!

Craziest hand I've ever been a part of...

I have A3, flop is AA2. UTG bet $20 preflop, continued for $25 on flop, two callers (including me). Turn is 7, but also creates two flush draws (diamonds and clubs). UTG now goes all in for $65 (I have about $250), I call, only other player folds.

At this point I assume I'm against a better A, and when she offers to run it 2.5 times, I gladly agree in case I can get maybe a bit back. She shows AQ of course, so way behind.

First river is a 3 for a boat! So I'm probably getting 1/3 of the pot, perfectly happy with that. Second river is a Q, not that she needed it. With the first two boards split, it is run for a third time and I get the case 3! I take down 2/3 of the pot for no good reason.

Kicked off a great session, in for $200 out for $1100 after heavily tipping dealer and host, and giving my friend $100 to stay in the game.

Never heard of running it 2.5 times. I'm guessing from the example, that it is run 2x, but if those are chopped it is run once more for a 2/3 - 1/3 chop?

Is this casino action, or a home game rule?

You got it right, if no chop then it's a scoop after 2x, chop runs it a third time.

It's a home game, and this particular home game is the first time I'd ever heard of it. A lot of people like it because it means someone is always at least taking a majority of the pot.

I've never done it or would even suggest it anywhere else, I just sort of roll with it there. I'm always the "whatever you want" guy unless it's a preflop flip, then I ask for 2x.

Funny part is, I'm assuming she put me on a draw and that's why she wanted to run multiple times - had she known I had a weak A, I think it would have been run once and I would have scooped.

Best action photos I've seen of those chips yet. Are you sure @JeepologyOffroad didn't hack your account?

Those $5's are delicious looking.

@xdan , we need to make those Statesman cards in new colors. Only reason I don't use mine is because the green/brown isn't good for the couple of color blind players I have.

I’ll look into it.
I was thinking about it and figured I would be best to get the bulk sent to USA and then a few boxes to me.

It’s a 2000 MOQ though.
1000 on each colour.
