I feel good when I'm in for $20 and out for $20. 4-5 hours of fun for free? Yes and thank-you!
I don’t like breaking even. It feels like a waste of time…. Like I didn’t try hard enough. Losing 5 buy ins though?? That’s a good effort if nothing else.

Ran so hat all the first 4 levels (you can see where this is going).

battled 3 times against the chip leader, got sucked out on twice layer, then ran short stack into better hands repeatdidly and actually missed the bubble . . :confused . Managed high hand, so theres that.

Stillbhad a blast !

1/2 in Brooklyn last night, in my living room that’s temporarily couch-less for some extra elbow room. It got pretty wild - 5 was on about half the time, a couple of regs were battling hard, and others were happy to keep topping up to half the big stack.

The 500s got into play for the first time, and I came close enough to exhausting the bank that it’s time to hunt for some 1Ks for this set.

Also debuting: Angel cards brought back by a friend from Japan, all-in triangles from Justin and some nice plastic folding chairs from Home Depot.

Summer is the off-season at @ChaosRock's, but he fans the degen flames with cash games or the oddball tournament. Tonight was an 8-handed PLO tournament.

The host was nice enough to felt a brand new set of chips, and a fresh new setup of Angels (and even had a new topper installed on his table). Top-notch host!

I got the bad side of variance a few times, after two rebuys and a dwindling stack, I started to catch cards.

AAxx v AAxx v my TT65 that made a straight when 789 hit the board for a double knockout. Boat over boat. AAxx with at least one suit three times in five hands. AAxx v KKxx twice, both for knockouts.

In the end, I was heads-up with @ThePunk. He shoved his pair into my flopped straight, it held, and I took it down.

Thanks for the invite, @ChaosRock. Always a good time!
