Spent more time figuring out the pot and then chopping them than playing. Sweet chips and a great group more than made up for that. Came in 3rd. In for $40 out for $65.

Yeah, final hand was A-7 against K-Q suited. She had a 3:1 chip lead and called the other players all in pre flop. Board ran out low and no pairs so Ace high took it. Happens a lot in hold em when there’s only two players left.

Congrats, @MrsTKEUofM. It's been a long time coming. She has played solid for a long time, but you need a little luck to win a 4-table tournament. She finally got some run good to go with her good play.

Very true. I’ve won twice in the last month and there were lucky hits in both. Gotta run good to win, playing good helps but is not enough for the win most nights. The more tables playing, the more luck figures in.

Pool league picnic. No entry fee anyone can play and the league gives $150 towards the tourney. 14 signed up to play so we had 2 tables. We decided to just pay 1st $100 & runner up $50. I bubbled in 3rd. Chip leader called my all in on the turn with four to an Ace high club flush against my kings and binked a
