Incidentally, someone mentioned here on PCF that phones automatically white balance to skin tones and if you're not getting true colors, put your hand in the photo, let the phone adjust, then move you hand and snap the pic. It works, as shown below. Neat trick!

I dug out my sample set of these Dunes CC’s recently. It’s kinda crazy how totally fine they are. More newbies should just buy them instead of Tina’s.

Not really a home game, but me and two of my offspring participated in a fundraiser tournament at the local FOP last night. Total of about 30 participants. My daughter had never played outside of some family sessions, but she held her own very well. Shitty chips, crappy cards, good people and good food. 10/10.

Nice! Spending time playing poker with family is definitely worth playing with crappy chips and cards!!:D

Another $1/1 stake game at Dan house.

Started with the usual $200, run the stack up to $300+ before dropping back to $150ish after I overplayed my JJ on a 358 FD board.

Topped up another $100 to the stack and make a huge bluff on a 4-bet pot with AQ on 99883 runouts, scored a big pot with a set of TT vs QJ on Q high board. Lost a Medium one with QQ on KQ8K6 run vs KQ.

Very chill causal game, one of the lowest total buyins with only $2.6k at the end, $4k+ is the norm and our last session saw over $7k in play at the end.

In for $300 Out for $530

@TheRealTeddyKGB Is that a U.N. Spacy logo on that barrel of gray solids?
It certainly is, good eye!! Had Gear make these custom shufflechips for me. I was thinking about making a custom set if I could ever find the right chips. (Roy: White w/black yellow, Max: Blue w/white, Miriya: Red w/white & Monster for the olive $25)

Nice! That set would be incredible...what a great idea. If your games include quarters you could even do a frac in Ben Dixon tan with simple white edge spots like a 212 or 314. :D

It's rare to find another Macross/Robotech fan out in the wild. I have a bit of an obsession with it...was hands-down my favorite show back in the 80's.

Where it all started. Had a family gathering at my late great grandpa's house. Call it a little reunion. It's been a few years. Small crowd but 4 generations present. I took my gear, but once the table was setup I realized the right thing to do was to keep it old school. I didn't even bother mentioning the chips or cards, I just reveled in the nostalgia.

We always remembered to bring our change to grandpa's house. The second someone said it was time for cards the fam would organize like a well rehearsed team. Move the tables, count the cards, round up any stragglers that might not have heard the call. It's moments like this that solidified my claim as a poker player.

In for $20, out for $28

"I raise a nickel :cool"

Wanted to get these pics posted sooner. Been busy with life, work, kids, etc.

Got to guest-chip @Kyle's MTT down in Colorado a couple weeks ago with the WSOP-RioME chips. Got to catch up with @pokerplayingpisces @markleteenie @ruskba and a bunch of the other old crew. Even cashed in 3rd! Had a great time, hope to do it again or make it an annual event.

50k starting stacks. 10k on time bonus.

Here are some pics of the event...
