Honestly after playing mine and now his, they're awesome for 8, and I think you'd fit 9 easier on it then you would fit 10 on our old Barrington tables

I have the standard sized pub table, which I believe is only 6 inches shorter, and though it’s great for 7 and fine for 8, I flat out wouldn’t even try 9.

I think you'd find an extra six inches could make all the difference

In $1500 out for more so at least I'm finally in the black at one of my games Got the $500's in play, so happy I didn't waste my money on a barrel that wouldn't see the felt.

$0.25/$0.50…..and the $500’s got in play. I barely get the Hundos in play for my $1/$1 game

This is it, we play the Nit Game at least once an evening. Win a hand, lose your Nit button. Last player remaining with a Nit button has to pay everyone else 4 big blinds each. Players are mostly into it, it for sure generates action.

if a player gets felted during the game and they have no more cash to reload (or don’t want to reload) and they leave, that’s OK and they are out of the game and head out. GG see you next time. The Nit game continues.

If a player gets felted and is the last player to have a Nit button, that’s a different matter. They still owe the penalty, if they are all out of cash I spot them the cash to pay everybody and they pay me back later.

It hasn’t come up yet, I realize it could be a problem if there’s only one or two players with Nit buttons left, this lets the felted player jump ahead of them in the Nit game, even though the departing player is forfeiting getting paid in the Nit game, it could still be an issue.

That said, I’m not holding someone who is out of money or wants to leave. Like I mentioned, the game will be paid out and everyone understands that the last Nit button left has that obligation. It sucks if someone gets stuck with the penalty, but at least there’s one less player for them to pay if someone takes off.

Ran hot as hell tonight at @Pippa BBQ and poker night. Was nearly down $100 early, but I drilled the gutter to chop up a bomb pot and from there it was upwards and onwards.

Final bomb pot I turned my into gold. Backing into the nut straight on board two and the boat up top. Big scoop against two other big hands.

Meant to post these a while ago. Hosted a 6max cash game with a few friends, micro stakes as 2 of them were newish to the game. We ended up running until around 02:00, and I eventually convinced them to play some basic dealers choice with NLHE, PLO and Pineapple. All well received. In for £15, out for ~£45. Though the 2 day hangover almost made me regret it

My KK got cracked on the very 1st hand which pretty much set the tone. Unfortunately it wasn't the only time of the night...

They're Faded Spade. The box says 2.0 but I'm convinced they are 2.5's. Everyone who plays with them agrees. Thickness of them is similar to 2.0 but the texture is more like the 3.0. They're over 5 years old, no splitting or warping with probably 75 games on them & haven't been cleaned once.

Home Game with local friends and @Dingdingding at my house.
We started with a single table tourney (AST‘s) and switched to CG later with my semi custom MGM Grand‘s/Detroits. Very relaxed atmosphere and a lot of fun.
Unfortunately my highlight was the light show because I sucked at poker. @Dingdingding flopped quads during the tournament and made it to the 2nd 1st place. Congrats!!
