Got absolutely crushed at my own home game today. It was effing brutal. Repeatedly felted, coolered, and just flat out abused by my āfriendsā. Lmfao! Them is the breaks I guess. That said, I had a blast running this game. My dad offered up his top shelf BBq tandoori chicken! Had a great day!
Extra special shout out to @dealer77 for coming down and playing, and also dealing for us. He adds that professional touch and heās just a classy player.
I decided to break out the Lakeside duck, but he did eff all for me.
I lost $550 in the end. Just so much run bad. I was even run over by the rookie to my right, repeatedly. Good lord! Keep calm and chip on.
Starting off with Crown Plazas. And we decide to go all-in on the last hand where the wife rivers a straight to take it down to win day 1.
TRKs for day 2. Aces nearly get cracked but have a miracle river. I ran good enough to seal the W for the night. (Also made some individual padded rails to accompany the topper)
Final day of July 4th festivities. Dunes were the chips of choice on the mini table with NTP cards (that I didnāt like but enjoyed them a lot last night). Started off super hot but cooled off and my sister ended up taking it down.
A rare Thursday night game for me, but with Friday being a work holiday it lined up well! Got the Proteges with plaques in play. Ran up a stack early but lost a couple of bomb pots where my wraps and redraws missed and got quartered on another big hand.
In for 240, out for 260 so not a bad night overall. Old fashions and a good variety of beer was on the menu for the evening.
First time hosting in ages this past Thursday but had an enjoyable evening with the company of @FilthyMcNasty@fsupolo@Rieguy@APatHand and despite @MrCatPants bitching constantly. Sadly I forgot to take photos but did get my customs in play for the second time in a year.
