Is the owner of the Big Stack coming to my house tonight?

With the WSOP about to start, I always think of my dear friend Gavin, rest in peace.

Here’s a PLO/big O home game we were at back in the day. Gavin is dealing the game, as Todd Brunson watches the runout after getting stacks in preflop. And yes, they had some of the worst chips possible there. Tragically, Gavin passed away a few years back.

What do you do when you have an 8 to 10 week wait for your new table? You upgrade to a felt with a betting line. Cmon, let’s go!! Just about half way through the wait.

awesome, ordering my illuminati in next few weeks. Can't wait to see your pics, and hear your reviews on it. I'm going gorilla legs, would love pedestal but need to move it out of way when not in use.

Interesting. I've heard the rule before that if all boards are killed then best 4 card poker in hand wins. I realize each game has their own rule for 3 same river cards, but Abby's game cards says the below.

I actually think I like the idea of no boards going away, and having a three way split pot. Then at least the players with the best hands win the chips. And no, I don't think I was one of the players who would have had a winning hand. Honestly, I never gave it much thought because I never believed it would ever actually happen.

You gotta look at the odds. Enough hands and enough time - no matter how improbable, if possible it will happen.

You know what they say, "If you put 100 monkeys with 100 keyboards in a room long enough, eventually you’ll get Derailment."

I had an American Icelandic SCARNEY hand where there were 4 people left.

1 guy lost all his cards on the turn.
1 guy lost all his cards on the river.
1 guy fouled out because he was too busy laughing at the first two and forgot to discard.
last guy scooped.

I think you mean Icelandic Scarney. The first 2 guys would still in the hand if it is American Scarney and would chop the low.

You're right! There's only one version of Scarney allowed in my house and it's if you have no cards, your hand is dead. Plus my crew likes the extra carnage (this is why they thought Derailment wasn't that bad of a game).

I'll update my post.

Whew! I knew I liked you, but started to question that choice..... LOL. We also only play Icelandic Scarney!
