Warmup in the backyard for tonight’s game @Potsie1 ‘s place. Upper Latourell Falls and upper bridge of Multnomah Falls. Nice landscaping, Jim, but the fish in the koi pond look like they are close to dead!

I play in a monthly $10 T1K tournament for which you accrue points during year. Some portion of the buy-in each month is set aside to fund a freeroll tournament at the end of the year. February through October are the paid tournaments and the freeroll is in November. (January and December are skipped.) Starting chip stack in the freeroll is based on your point total throughout the year.

I finished first in points and last night took down the winner-take-all freeroll for $350. I think that brings my net profit over the year to $760

I think I started with ~3750 chips. Average would have been 1K.

But the GREAT NEWS is that the TD is stepping down and I've volunteered to take over next year. It is a regular group of players so the TD has it pretty easy, not much in the way of rulings or disputes to resolve, more just running the clock (some standard software, I forget which) and maintaining the database of results. And . . . SUPPLYING THE CHIPS. Whooohoooo!!!! Finally will get some regular play out of my tourney sets. So psyched!

K of C charity tourney last night, had 19. Only pic I took was this one with 7 players left. All in on pretty equal big stacks at the table. Winner of this hand won the tourney. Board played out top to bottom in the pic. Pretty sick hand.

Raised over $500 to help adopt families from the Christmas bureau. (Thanks again to @links_slayer for the chip raffle a few years ago. I would guess they have raised over $3500 so far for charity)

Played a $1 / $1 NLHE Cash Game. Min buyin and Rebuy $100. There’s a group of about 8 of us that get together once or twice a month. This night the big winner was in the game for $100 and out for just over $1100. Not a bad ROI for about 6 hours of work. Lol

We’re using my BCC Garden City cash set until I finish my NPS dream cash set.
