Mixed mold is not intentional. Element 82 - Lead (Pb) Plumbum - THAT is what's intentional. PCA $1 secondaries might be the most underrated chip ever.

Maybe I'm wrong (often), but they also seem to engender unusually strong emotions. Seems like people either absolutely love or hate them.
Nice work on the Outposts, which look like they have really sharp edges - is that unusual?

I think it’s a couple of things:

(1) people are just so goofy about RHC’s in general. Sharp RHC’s rock, though.

(2) it is sort of distressing to have a casino pick just 1 chip to have a different mold, à la Aztar MO $5’s.

Racks of inlaid leaded quarters are friggen rare, like RARE.

When some are offered to you at a fair price, you build the set.

Obviously these chips are high quality and amazing to shuffle and play poker with. One of my other favorite things about them is they were made in Las Vegas, by Americans working at an American company. Joe and Jane Lunchbox clocked in at the Paulson factory and made these chips one day. I think that is pretty great.

It's also why I probably enjoy bourbon more than scotch, despite my Scottish ancestry. Similar vibes, though a lot of our bourbon producers have sold to foreign owners in the last 10-20 years.
