Took me awhile to figure out why the casino was on hill w a mound then it clicked…I like the theme and i think it is very clever what you did with the writing...
I think the inlay is a bit crowded with too much details on the atomic cloud and i would most likely skip the radiation symbol as this is pretty much said by everything else though.
As for the chips i would imagine them to be in less vivid colors usually, unless you are playing with the nuka cola theme...
And the currency could also be caps right away instead of those worthless dollars![]()

If that is of any comfort, i also took a while to realize the cap-shaped inlay...Took me awhile to figure out why the casino was on hill w a mound then it clicked…

Yeah, I think I need to spend some time rethinking the overall design/name. I wanted it to be more Fallout-inspired, but the direction I'm going doesn't fully scratch the itch I originally had.If that is of any comfort, i also took a while to realize the cap-shaped inlay...
Regarding the V2, i like it better a bit. Keeps me thinking of whether a Casino would be named Nuka Casino though... Nuka World with Hotel and Casino in the subline would feel more natural to me. But maybe that is only damage from a couple of hundred hours in the FO4 with its DLCs![]()
And the dealer button and cut card. And maybe other alternate logos etc.Use the radiation symbol for a non-denom chip if you ever need one (to represent fracs or whatever).
Chip design is inspired by the Fallout video game series (which now has a show on Amazon Prime.. fantastic and worth a watch). I loosely tied a few elements (bottle caps, "Nuka", New Vegas location).I may be the outlier here…I have no ide…but I LOVE the lighting bolt as dollar sign!
Yep…For me though, it’s usually the small details I love. The N-to-O bomb, the lightening bolt. Etc. I’ve only done one custom design in my life but I see little things like this that just show how much an ‘artist’ can add to an idea!Chip design is inspired by the Fallout video game series (which now has a show on Amazon Prime.. fantastic and worth a watch). You need to put atoms on each side of the denomination
Instantly recognizable for me from playing Fallout Shelter, well done!Chip design is inspired by the Fallout video game series (which now has a show on Amazon Prime.. fantastic and worth a watch). I loosely tied a few elements (bottle caps, "Nuka", New Vegas location).
Bottle caps?@SeanGecko
Thought I'd respond here before the on-topic police came for me. Ha
Debated making a cents denomination.. and if I opened up to group ordering would likely rework to a more normalized cash/tourney set (toyed with making cents be fractions or %s as well).. but I'm likely planning to play 5 = 5c, 25 = 25c, 100 = $1, etc.. or 1 = 1, etc with larger buy-in games.
Not sure yet, but not opposed to testing the denoms out and just getting more if it comes out clunky.
I wanted to make the same suggestion, but I figured it would be too small to print.Radiation symbol as the decimal?View attachment 1324901
Yeah, I tried working caps in but tough to get either a recognizable symbol (vs just a c), and I already pulled in the bottle cap border.Bottle caps?
Each different one is rarer and worth more.
Also, your edge art should line up so like every five chips it makes a mushroom cloud or the radiation symbol
Very cool, interesting to see how someone else approaches a similar theme!Check these out
