I want to start off by saying a few things:
- I grew up twenty miles from Paradise, California, and my parents still live in the same house. Each day there is a fear that the fire will shift, and something bad will happen to them. These are the same parents who live at the base of Oroville Dam, which was at the risk of breaching a less than two years ago. I am greatful for my family and friends, and their impact in my life.
- I don’t play poker more than once every few years, so I collect sets of chips because they are cool to me. One day I will try chip monopoly.
- I have been very fortunate to do lots of buying and selling which resulted in me having some amazing sets that I am in right.
- I have accumulated lots of things over the years and have hoarded these care for over a decade without ever using them.
- I would like to do something nice for people as a token of my graititude. I offered to sell these and give the proceeds to Tommy, but he declined the offer. I am greatful that he has provided this forum for our use.
Now that the preamble is over, the offer. I have the following lots available that I want to give away:
Lot 1: (kem double deck)
Lot 1A: (not sure what the cards are, as I have never opened them)
Lot 2: (kem double deck)
Lot 3: (kem double deck)
Lot 4: (Kem double deck)
Lot 4A: (A plus double deck)
Lot 5: (congress two decks)
Lot 6: (old USPC deck)
Lot 7: (old Fremont deck with a traverse casino deck, and an old sealed USPC deck)
Here is the offer:
1) please post below which lot you want. First come, first serve. Only posts will be acted on.
2) I will mail all of the decks to the person who takes lot 1. They will remove their lot, and ship the rest to the person who takes lot 2. This process will be completed until the person who gets lot seven receives their decks.
3. This puts each persons cost at the cost of postage. I hope that this is done in such a way that everyone gets a little something for their troubles.
4. All I ask is that you do something nice for someone else. They don’t have to be on the forum. It can be as simple as calling your mother to say hello. I hope that everyone will walk away a little better than they started the day.
Important note: do the price sensitivity, we cannot ship to foreign addresses, unless you have someone in the us who can redrive, pull your lot, and reshape for you. I am sorry about this, but life isn’t fair. I will need all of the people who want in to send me their address so that we can get the shipping list sorted out.
