Really? Tigers are that much? I have some Sunset Beach IHC chips that are under 10g. I think you're good for lead at 11.5g.
Oooh can I finally use my math degree?

43/39 = 1.1

For area, it’s squared (pi r ^ 2)

So a 43mm chip is about 21% bigger in area than a 39mm chip.

Most would say above 10g is when we start getting into leaded territory

Therefore, I expect leaded IHC to begin around 12.1g, which in barrel form is 242g.

(And to answer the tiger question, iirc the blaze claws were like 9g and the charcoal were 11g. I never had a tiger 43mm that weighed above 12g a chip).

Even with leaded chips post 1998, most the colors used <1% lead. Probably very little weight difference.
I found this out when trying to find whether Sam’s town could be leaded.

The leaded colors (post 1998) were met gold, met silver, royal blue, and two others I cannot recall (but not Day Blue).

I have not heard <1% before so that’s good information, do you know the other colors? Or how much lead was used in the chips from 1975-1998?

I believe it was 4 others. In addition to the Metallic Gold and Silver;
  • Blurple
  • Day Green
  • Fuchsia
  • Indian Blue
There were EPA documents, but I don't remember if someone posted the docs or if they just cited them and I took their word for it. My memory isn't what it used to be.
