Hello from Clarksville, TN. The wife and I love going to Vegas and have decided to start collecting chips from as many casinos as possible. Our plan is to have them in a framed display case or maybe set them up in a curio cabinet. I do have a few questions. What is the preferred way to store them from the time I acquire the chip(s) to the time I get them home? I don’t want to just throw them in my pocket and walk the strip with them bouncing around with my keys. Is there any reason I should get more than one or two chips? I only plan on collecting $1 chips, so I’m not worried about getting all denominations. Is there anything else a new guy should know? Thanks.

Collecting dollar chips should be easy for you. If you want to store them coin tubes in medallion size hold 20 each and protect the chips during their trip home.

Welcome to PCF.

Given that dollar chips are your target, buy enough during your visit to pick out the best of your lot. Some places may have different variations in play, so you may want one of each.

Also, when you are ready, ask someone here how to clean off hooker juice.

Why would I want to wash off the Vegas experience from the chips? lol

Sorry for the double reply. I’m still leaning
