Introducing Group Buy Management & Order Threads
Group buys are a big part of this community, but until now running one meant digging through pages of posts, tracking orders manually, and juggling DMs. That changes today. I’ve built a full group buy system directly into the forum, designed around how PCF group buys actually work.
For Members Participating in a Group Buy
- Order from the thread
No more “I’ll take 2 sets” posts and hoping the organizer catches it. Open the order form, set your quantities, and you are instantly added to the list. - Making changes to your order
Edit or cancel your order at anytime up until the order deadline. - Chip breakdowns
Items that need denomination breakdowns include a note field where you can spell out your 100 × $0.25, 100 × $1, and so on. - Always know your total
Your personal order bar sits at the top of the group buy thread showing exactly what you owe, when payment is being collected, and the payment details. Click on the total for a full breakdown of items, added costs, and shipping. - Alerts at every step
Payment due, payment received, balance due, order shipped with tracking. You get notified automatically so you never need to refresh the thread to find out what is happening. - Privacy
Only the organizer can see your shipping address. It never appears publicly.
For Organizers

Every order appears in one table. Filter by status, see totals instantly, add internal memos (e.g. special shipping instructions from the member), and update orders without digging through posts. - Item management built for chips
Set prices, cap quantities where items are limited, and enable breakdown fields only on items that need them.

Members pay for items first. Once the shipment arrives and you know tariffs, taxes, and shipping, you collect a single balance payment. No more guessing fees upfront. - One payment model

Add custom labeled cost lines for tariffs, artwork fees, shipping supplies, or anything else that applies. Members see exactly what each charge is instead of one vague lump sum. - One-click updates
Mark payments in bulk and use the GB status button as your buy moves through its stages: Taking Orders, Collecting, In Progress, Reshipping, Completed. - Automatic reminders
Members with unpaid orders get alerts before deadlines so you do not have to chase anyone. - CSV export
