Giveaway New Members Cards Molds Taj Mahal shuffle giveaway! (1 Viewer)

This stop playing shit cards, cards capper is the dream!
That was two of us thinking out loud and Mr. @Himewad did all the work on that one himself! I love them too!

Option #3 it is.

I got a message from @dpeks13 saying his first choice was #1 so that leaves door #2 for @ChipEnvy .

Shoot me a PM with your address gents and these will be on their way!

@TheOffalo so when we flip to make it more interesting than just flipping over all of our cards most prefer a "reveal" style. So we deal our hands, deal the board, but everything is face down. You start with the flop, first person turns over 1 card, second player has to beat that card and so on. After the last person tries to beat the best so far we go to the turn.

Fun game so most of us choose 5 - 6 card in hand games so you have more chances. Let's do 5 card Omaha High.

Say we have 4 players flipping for $100. $400 in the pot we then reveal the flop. The first player flips an A, so he has A high K kicker. Next guy has to beat the Ace, you keep flipping until you beat the previous hand

So here player two flips 2 cards and has a pair of 4s which beats the Ace, next player has to beat the 4s, he has to flip 3 cards but has a pair of 10s,final player flips 1 card and hits the K for a pair of kings, on to the turn.

A Jack gives player 3 two pair Js and 10s, so now we start back with player #1 who now has to beat player #3s two pair.

He improves but only to Aces, all of his cards are up, he is still playing but done flipping, on to player #2
20220420_204531.jpg

Crazy hard but he only has a pair of Jacks, skip player #3 as he is leading, on to player #4
20220420_204735.jpg

Just kings so does not beat the two pair. On to the river, could get interesting.

Player #3 wins with his boat, doesn't even have to turn the others over.

Of course we could have flipped them all up and dealt the board, but that's less fun.

Does that make sense? Just how we flip at meet ups.

Thanks for the thorough rundown @Ben8257, and appreciate you dealing out a four-handed example hand. Definitely have a couple questions:

When the :js: on the turn gave P3 two-pair, why does it go back to P1 instead of going "in turn" to P4 as the next player?

Once P1 shows his trip Aces Never mind, forgot this is (im)PLO(sion).

So this slow reveal is for suspense/dramatic purposes only, and does not factor into the outcome of the hand? I thought for a moment, when you were describing the hands in the giveaway at the end, that maybe number of cards shown played into it. "First place with just two cards showing..."

(Might be an interesting variation, if a "fair" ranking could be determined factoring in number of cards not showing. Edit: Thinking maybe a low game, where straights and flushes don't count against you, so that there's more possibilities of similar ranked hands to have the # of down cards act as tiebreaker, somewhat like badugi.)

Definitely just to add suspense.. really adds an element of fun, especially when multiple straight/flush draws are possible. Omaha is a game of draws.

There is a game where # of cards is a factor but a lot more complicated to explain. There is a thread about Drawmaha 21,very fun game.
