So I was lucky and tagged along on a Taj Mahal tribute cards mold set. Bought them, racked them, and put them away. Pulled them out and went through them today and 14 of the $1 chips have blemishes on one side, I still have enough to finish my two racks so why not give the blemished chips away to someone that hasn't had a chance to check out the cards molds yet.

Also throwing in a spare $5 and $100 chip.

Shipping is on me in the US. It would definitely cost more in shipping than they are worth to ship outside conUS but I will give a $6 credit towards international shipping if someone really wants them.

To be IN, for one I want these to go to someone that doesn't have any cards molds chips yet, please be honest. share a few words about your chipping journey so far, future plans, write a short "Ben Book" and you will likely win! LoL lower the post count the better, I will pick the "Ben Book" I like the most tomorrow around 6PM eastern time. (Honestly in good condition the value here is like $5... I'm not expecting much! Haha)

No reason for these to sit and collect dust, pass along that which you don't need!

Happy Chipping PCF

Not in, but definitely a fun twist on a giveaway! Looking forward to reading about others chipping journeys!

I joined a little over a month ago while searching for a new set for home games. Now I browse at these sets and have my next 10 years of bonuses spent in my head.
I made the stupid mistake of buying a barrel of PNY secondary 25s “just to see what they felt like”

I don’t see a PNY set in my near future, but I am staring at some 500s for sale just to see…lol. I do see a lot more “sample” barrels coming, and eventually a cash set.

Do I get bonus points for regularly playing at the Taj before they turned it into the hard rock and got rid of the poker room? Haha

Not sure if there is someone else this will be a better home for, but here goes for the story.

My name is Chris, and I dove headfirst into chipping like 10-12 or so years ago now after initially owning dice chips and spending too much time trying to get better colors for tournament colors once I learned the difference. Didn’t even know about the quality differences.

Then I found The Chip Room site. I spent forever mulling over whether I wanted Milanos or Pharoah’s China Clays. I liked the Milano edge spots, but they didn’t have all the chips so Pharoah’s it was. Played with those for a while (and still had them) then the Terrible’s set came out. I was hooked on the primary colors and splurged for a set of 500 chips. That wasn’t a cheap set for me while in college compared to the Dice chips or China clays. I thought The Chip Room shut down so I have been away from this community forever.

My home game has never had a nice tournament set, just the cash games with Pharoah’s and Terrible’s. My next project will be custom! I have talked to Tina’s assistant for initial questions, but I haven’t committed to a mold yet and saw others like crown molds etc. It would be neat to get a real feel for that two color edge spot pattern on that mold because to me it’s either that or the other popular 3something16 pattern I see here on the cards mold.

Good luck to whoever wins =)

I’m in. I gotta check out what all the hype is about.

My story is a long one. My first post on a chip site was in 2001 and I had been collecting for a couple years before that. I’ve bought and sold more sets than I can remember. I had close to 15k posts on the blue wall. I am very content where my collection is at right now and have been drawn back more and more to individual casino chips because to me, spending $50 on a single historically significant chip is more logical than spending that same amount for 2 mass produced chips made specifically to harvest money from set collectors. Collecting sets in this era has become a hobby for those with more money than sense. That’s fine though, because I love chips and will be around here long after those people are gone.

The cards mold seems like it may be the only type of set that I may be willing to spend my money on until either enough chips enter the market or until enough crazies leave the market to make me feel like the product justifies the price.

There’s my Tom book. Thanks for the contest/giveaway.

Thank you guys! I should have said we will play for them if more than one participant... just feel like if I say everyone has a chance then people will just say "In" and not spend that extra effort. But I am far to kind and fair of a person to pick someone. This is still open until 6 PM today, it is currently 11:30 am in our nation's Capitol leaving just 6 hours and 30 minutes to join our 3 participant's.

Game must not be split pot so I am going to cap this one at 9 players and play Implocean high only (5 card hand, 6 card board) like Omaha have to and can only use two.

1. @dpeks13
2. @ChrisTot
3. @ChipEnvy

Officially down to 3 minutes we have added exactly zero additional participants. We are getting close to shuffle up n deal time!

You 3 came for cards molds... I'm going to deliver!

Top left we have the (original give away) Plus a few extras call that #1 including a couple original AC Trump chips, stop playing sh*t cards capper, a Chessies Cove Hi/Lo button.

top right we have a sample of "Time" ceramics, a few Cards Molds and the same add ons. Call it #2

Bottom we have a beautiful High Hand Button 49mm (like a small dealer button) from my babies the Silver Tounged Devil collection, some cards molds and the other add ons!

I try to be fair... again no loosers in my give away!

Winner gets first choice, then second... let me grab a deck.

So in a typical flip the first player goes, second has to beat the first and so on... @ChipEnvy first flip is a Q for top pair, @ChrisTot hits top pair J kicker, @dpeks13 unfortunately takes all 5 cards to improve over the early Q an is leading at the flop with 2 pair.

No hidden cards but hand can still improve!

On to the turn!

BTW totally messed up @dpeks13 only had a pair at the flop (dummy Ben! Only 2 from the hand!)

The river

Well...

First place with just two cards showing is @ChrisTot (Qs + Js 2 pair)

Second place caught up with 2 pair and goes to @dpeks13 (Qs + 10s 2 pair)

Third place @ChipEnvy with 2 pair (Qs + 9s)

Soo what did @ChrisTot actually have for reinforcements?

Improves to the Q high flush!

Thanks for playing folks!

BTW folks... the other side of the beautiful Hi/Lo button.

Anyone that doesn't know how to use a hi/low button...

In mixed Circus games often games are split pots. Some are high/high, some are hi/low... heck even a few inverted games are low/low. You keep this button on the table and flip it to let other players know if there is a split pot... if they are looking for a low for half. Not very useful for NLHE only players, but hopefully you step out of the box and start enjoying the craziness of mixed games!

Someone make a three-sided coin with a picture of a pig on the third side!

If I have first dibs, I gotta go with that Silver Tongued Devil set! Bottom!

Also thank you so much for doing this whole thing! Very nice of you and so much positive energy from it =)
