Sitting Out
Hey y'all, I'm Daniel.
Just wanted to introduce myself to the community here. Seems like a fun bunch.
Started hosting home games a few years ago, though I have been playing about 15 years.
I'm 27 now and have been playing in the casinos since I was 21, 'though the 'rona I think killed a lot of the live poker in New England. I mostly play home games now. No rake, and no a-holes (mostly).
I'm in 3 different poker leagues and will occasionally play in a local VFW tourney or down at Foxwoods in their Sunday game. I host a NLHE game with what I call the aquarium (all fish) and am part of a NLHE league with friends of my father-in-law. I also have a more informal stud/mixed-games group that gets together a few times a year but has been the same group of people for a long time.
I'm looking to build out my set of 800 chips, which I would classify as a step-up from dice chips but nothing fancy. Got 2 kids under 2 and a new house with a 5500 mortgage, so I'm not necessarily looking to break the bank.
Anyways, I'll shut up before y'all start scrolling by. I'm just here mostly for ideas to enhance my games, as well as looking to get in a group buy further down the road for upgraded chips.
Happy to be Here!
