My chips sucked! But to our family and friends they were referred to as "the good chips" lol

Unfortunately I didn't take this picture till much later, so while everyone will tell you get samples, which you absolutely should, also remember to document the journey.
Hard to believe just 3 short years ago I was teaching

Wasn't long before that tiny stack of casino used Paulsons and a bunch of cheap ABS plastic chips has now turned into meet ups for poker across the country and thousands of real poker chips!
My bits of advice here...
- a nice table and chairs, good lighting and great atmosphere will serve you much better at a home poker game than any $20 plus per poker chip ever will!
- rather than buying samples and putting out a bunch of money, see if there are any local members where you can go and check out their collection for free and save yourself some money!
- try to establish a budget, rather $100 a month or $5k a month try to establish what you can afford and do your best not to break it... while $5k in poker chips in a month sounds crazy, it really doesn't take long at all. Once those new drugs start showing up, you are just going to want more. It happens toall of us.
- lastly, if you are married... learn to get your chips shipped to work, your unmaired buddy's house. Believe me when those damn bubble mailers start showing up it can be brutal at times... another address where you can open them and not be judged for the ridiculous amount of shipping material is crucial! Haha
If there is ever any way I can help feel free to reach out via PM.
